Hi all, yes we are still living! I really don't know where the time or days go! This past weekend I had Father's Day at my house...I think it was a blast! After I cooked, my youngest cousin, Delta and I played in the pool, while everyone else chit chatted! I think it was a good day! The weekend prior for four days, I played soldier! I will post pictures as soon as I get them...I pitched a tent (and no, not a pup tent), played with my chem gear, had a mass causality exercise and played on the tarmac, loading patients on the back of a C130..all in all it was a good time. Just a tad warm...temperature was hitting close to 100 degrees!
I have applied for another job, this one in Union Springs at a community hospital working from 1700 to 0700...Monday thru Thursday. I would get every weekend off and would be able to sleep at night if it is quiet. I like where I work now, but I am not liking some of their politics. For example, cutting my pay (all evening and night techs got about a 10% pay cut!) Granted I still have a job, but I am thinking I am being proactive! Oh, and there is a commute of 40 minutes or so on a country road! And I will the sole tech...guess I have missed those days! But the pay is better and I have always loved being in a small atmosphere!
